Grindmeter Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and the person who runs Grindmeter. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Grindmeter.
Who we are
Grindmeter is run by Erdem Emre, an individual. Contact: support@grindmeter.app.
Who can use Grindmeter
You must be at least 16 years old. You must give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account. One person, one account.
What Grindmeter is
Grindmeter is a tool for planning workouts, checking in, recording and importing runs and rides, and sharing your progress. It is not medical advice and not a coach. Talk to a doctor before you start or change exercise, especially if you have a health condition. You train at your own risk, and you are responsible for your own safety, for example when running or cycling near traffic.
Your content
"Your content" means what you post, comment, upload or otherwise put in the app, including pictures.
- You keep ownership of your content. Only upload pictures and text that you made or have the right to use. Do not upload someone else's work or photos.
- You give us a free, worldwide licence to store, show and display your content in the app, and in the share images you create, for as long as it is on your account, so that we can run the service. This does not let us sell your content.
- Anything you post can be seen by other users of the app, as described in the Privacy Policy.
What is not allowed
You may not use Grindmeter to:
- post anything illegal, or that harasses, threatens, bullies or discriminates against anyone, or that is hateful, sexual, graphic or violent;
- post content that infringes someone's copyright, trademark or privacy, or photos of another person without their permission;
- impersonate another person, or pick a username that is offensive or misleading;
- spam, advertise or promote unrelated things;
- cheat: invent or alter runs, rides or workouts, use tools to fake distance, speed or GPS, or run several accounts to get ahead;
- attack or overload the service, try to get around its limits or security, copy it in bulk, or reverse-engineer it.
Reporting and removing content
You can report a post in the app (the ⋯ menu → Report post). A post that several people report is hidden until it has been looked at. To report content that is illegal or infringes your rights, or to make a copyright or other complaint, write to support@grindmeter.app and tell us what the content is, where it is, and why it is a problem. We will review it and remove it if it breaks these terms or the law. If we remove your content or restrict your account, we will tell you why where we can, and you can reply to us to ask for a review.
Rankings and fair play
Rankings, medals and achievements are for fun and motivation. Results that look impossible, or that break the app's limits, are checked automatically, and an account that repeatedly triggers them can be removed from the rankings. You can appeal in the app. We can correct, reset or remove any result we believe is wrong or not genuine.
Premium
- Premium is an optional paid plan that adds extra features, described in the app. Free features may change over time.
- Premium is bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price, the billing period and the renewal terms are shown in the app, next to the buy button, before you pay. Prices can differ by country and include tax where the law requires.
- Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings (the app has a "Manage subscription" button that opens it). If you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Features described as "unlimited" are unlimited for normal, personal use. To keep the service running for everyone, we may set a generous technical limit far above what a person uses by hand, and we may restrict automated or abusive use, such as scripts that create content in bulk.
- Payment, taxes, refunds and your right to withdraw from a digital purchase are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules and your local consumer law.
Ending your account
You can stop using Grindmeter and delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account), or by writing to us. When you delete your account, your posts, comments and likes are deleted too (see the Privacy Policy), and the licence above ends with them. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in the App Store or Google Play as well. We can suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we will tell you why where we can.
Changes to the app and these terms
We may change, add or remove features. We may update these terms; if the change matters, we will tell you in the app at least 14 days before it applies (a shorter notice only where the law or the security of the service requires it), and the date above will change. If you keep using Grindmeter after that, you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.
Our responsibility
We work to keep Grindmeter running and accurate, but we provide it "as is", we do not promise it will always be available or error-free, and results such as distance, pace and calories are estimates. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for damage from training or from other users' content. We do not limit our liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life or health. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that the law does not allow to be limited, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be excluded.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live. If we cannot settle a problem together, you can go to the courts competent under the law.
